Blizzard is targeting accounts that use a power leveling service and banning accounts left right and center. They have banned over 100,000 accounts in the previous year. So think about it twice before you go down this path.

I know the packages these power-leveling companies are offering these days are very lucrative to get anyone interested in getting a character power leveled. Here is a typical package the power leveling companies are offering for around $70.

If you think about it, this is just unbelievable but they can offer you these prices because they know that your account is going to get banned so they actually won’t have to deliver. All they need is for you to fall in the trap. This is a typical scenario:

1. You don’t have time to level your toon.
2. You look up the offers on a typical power leveling company’s website.
3. Once you see the above mentioned unbeleivable offer you are ready to order without thinking anything else.
4. The power leveling company start botting your character (24/7).
5. Blizzard bans the account.
6. The power leveling company doesn’t deliver or take any responsibility.
7. You lose everything (the account and the money)

How do Blizzard catch the Power Levelers?

I don’t know exactly what Blizzard do to catch the power levelers but it’s not really hard if you think about it. Say for example, if your account is registered in the US but someone from China (most power leveling companies are based in China) logs on and is online 24/7 then it is very easy to flag that account for further investigation. I am sure you get the idea now.

Don’t Buy World of Warcraft Accounts Either

Some World of Warcraft account selling companies are trying to take advantage of this situation by promoting the fact that you should buy a character rather than power levelling. I would steer clear of these character selling sites too. No matter what they say the account can be recalled by the original owner at any time. You don’t want to put all these time into the game only to find that the account has been recalled at a later date. This is what typically happens when you buy an account.

• The company selling the character will tell you that you can change the account password and email address and bla bla bla but what they do not tell you is that Blizzard will not let you transfer a character from an account that is not owned by the same person (the last name on the account has to match). Blizzard also will not allow you to change the account name.

• Few months later the original account owner will feel like coming back to the game and will tell Blizzard that his account got hacked. Once he can provide proof of ID (the account name is not changeable so you are screwed at this stage) the account can be reclaimed.

You will end up loosing the money you paid to buy the account and lost any work you did on characters on that account!

Minimum Requirement for Tanks

• Defense Rating: 540 (Defense Cap)
• Health: 25k
• Armor: 21k+

Minimum Requirement for DPS class

• All dps class should have at least more than 1.5k dps… 1.8k would be ideal.
• Classes whose dps depends on Attack Power should have at least 2.5k Attack Power.
• Classes whose dps depends on Spell Power should have at least 1350 Spell Power.
• Dps should have at least 75% towards the hit cap.

Note: It is possible to down the bosses with a few dps in the raid with less than 1.5k dps but then the fight becomes intense as the healers will run out of mana healing for longer time also some bosses will enrage and wipe the raid if your group can’t down him quick enough.

Minimum Requirement for Healers

• Healers should have at least 1500 Bonus Heal
• 160 MP5 (mana regeneration while in combat)

Note: A resto Druid or a resto Shamman would be really good to have in the raid group as a lot of the bosses do Poison damage in Naxxramas. For example Maexxana in Arachnid Quarter casts ‘Necrotic Poison’ (Reduces healing taken by 90% for 30 seconds) to targets in melee range in front of Maexxna, generally the tank. If the tank is not cleansed from this poison immediately  then that’s a guaranteed wipe. Abolish Poison (Druid spell) is the most effective way to remove it.

There are two types of Netherdrake mounts available. The armored Netherdrake is an arena award.

Netherdrake Flying Mount

Minimum Requirements
To begin, you must have a riding skill of 300 and a flying mount (flight form probably doesn’t count). You begin by speaking with Mordenai in Netherwing Fields (southeast corner of Shadowmoon Valley). He will send you on a chain of quests designed to get you neutral with the Netherwing faction. After you are neutral, he will talk to you about infiltrating the Dragonmaw Army. He will then send you to speak with Overlord Mor’ghor, the leader of the Dragonmaw. He is located at Netherwing Ledge.
Getting Exalted with Netherwing faction
You will change in appearance when you get close to the camp. This is because you are working as a spy now. This spell, which changes you into a fel orc and your mount into a netherdrake, will cause all of the fel orcs to become friendly to you. It is only in effect in the vicinity of Netherwing Ledge.

Once you arrive and speak with Overlord Mor’ghor, he puts you to work by sending you to get tasks from Taskmaster Varkule Dragonbreath. This is where the new quest types come into play. The majority of the quests available for reputation gains with the Netherwing faction are daily quests. They will have the tag (Daily) beside the quest title in your quest log. These quests can be repeated, but you can only do them once a day. Likewise, you can only complete a maximum of 10 daily quests in one day.

The quests you receive from the Taskmaster vary by your professions. Herbalists will be required to collect 40 netherdust pollens from the netherdust bushes found around the area while miners are required to mine 40 nethercite ore in the deposits found in the area. Skinners will be asked for 40 Nethermine Flayer Hides. Only one of the three gathering quests may be completed each day. Players without a gathering profession will receive a quest to gather crystals from the bodies of mobs they have killed.

Standing near the Taskmaster you will see the goblin Yarzill the Merc. He is your guy on the inside. He gives you more daily quests to help increase your reputation. His quests include poisoning the peon camps, collecting Netherwing relics, and finding Netherwing Eggs (these can drop from any creature or item node on the ledge).

When you get your reputation with Netherwing to friendly, you will have more quests available. The majority of these will be daily also. You can also continue the earlier repeatable quests. These new quests include things like disciplining 20 dragonmaw peons, collecting cargo from a mine, and killing a number of certain mobs. You will also receive a combat pet trinket that will summon a combat pet while in Shadowmoon Valley. This trinket can be upgraded along the way.

Do these new quests until you reach honored reputation. Now you will have more quests available to you (starting to see a pattern yet?). Your combat pet will be upgraded so that you can summon a combat pet in all zones. These new quests include things like gathering materials to build a cannon, killing a number of mobs in Twilight Ridge in Nagrand, and particpate in a race where things are thrown at you to make you lose.

At revered reputation, you will be able to get another daily quest where you get to lead a battle. You will also receive another upgrade to your trinket that adds 45 stamina.

Repeat until you become exalted, at which time you will be discovered as a spy (by no less than Illidan himself), saved by your merc friend, and given your netherdrake as a quest reward. There are five colors available for you to pick from. If you want a different color later, you can purchase a different netherdrake for 200g at the basecamp on Netherwing Ledge. The colors are azure, cobalt, onyx, purple, veridian, and violet (there are only five available with the quest turn-in, the extra color can only be bought).
