Complete the Old Crafty Achievement Easily
Fish up Old Crafty in Orgrimmar. This achievement can be a real pain to complete as the chance to catch him is less than 0.5%. For some players it took over 2000 tries to catch the Old Crafty. Below is an easy trick that I picked up from the wow forum which will help you complete this achievement easily.
- Go get the daily fishing quest Crocolisks in the City
- Go to Orgrimmar and fish (you will catch him in a few tries, for me it was 4 tries).
You will need at least 400 fishing to catch him. If it doesn’t work abandon ‘Crocolisks in the City’ and try again.
Now, one simply does not walk into Orgrimar so here is another little tip…
A safe way to do the achievement is doing it while doing the wrathgate chain starting from Fate, Up Against Your Will quest until when you deliver the last quest in chain where horde npc’s will not attack you. For players who have completed this quest already or can’t be bothered then just head over to Orgrimar and fish near ‘The Valley of Honor’ area standing behind the stone.
You don’t need 400 fishing, I got one on my DK while levelling fishing in Org, I was around 200 fishing at the time with only +55 from lure and rod.
