Guild Rules
Certain rules are necessary to be in place to ensure that no guild members get hurt or feel harassed and a friendly, family atmosphere is maintained within the guild. The goal is to promote a fun space where every member feels they are a valued one – regardless of level, play style, skill, or gear. The simple recipe is respect.
- Please comply with the Blizzard’s World of Warcraft game playing policies. The members are what comprise the guild. So it’s important to take active part in the guild by joining in events, helping others with quests, grouping with other Guild members, doing what you can to help the Guild as a whole. Don’t forget that the guilds image is reflected upon its member. So be polite and conduct yourself in a manner which will earn respect from your fellow players.
- Do not use derogatory language or name-calling with regard to another player’s race, gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. Players from various age groups are present in the guild, so do not use the guild chat to say things that will offend a player who is not from your age group, use “whisper” or “party chat” instead.
- Make funny comments by all means but do not say utterly gross things that may upset our female players. They are part of this guild as much as you are.
- Do not repeatedly nag for gold to random guild members. Use the farming guides provided on the guild website to earn your own gold. Too much greed is slow poison for the guild, it will not be tolerated.
- If a Guild member offers you something cheaply, buy it to use it, not to sell it on elsewhere.
- If you make a request using the guild chat and no response to your request is received then by all means repeat the request after a polite amount of time but do not spam.
- Need if you need it, greed otherwise (if there is an enchanter in the party then let the enchanter DE the not needed bop items).
- It is considered friendly and polite to greet a guildie upon logging. Likewise it is polite to reply to a “good bye” from a guildie.
- These rules are not set in stone. <License to Kill> is a big guild and not all situations, events and guild member behaviours can be foreseen. Guild Master reserves the right to amend these rules as needed upon consulting the Class Leaders and the Officers of the guild.
Don’t hesitate to let us know as to what you think or feel about things in the Guild. All members’ thoughts, opinions, and suggestions weigh heavily in the decision-making process.
