Kill Skadi (Heroic UP) under 3 Minutes Easily Using the Gauntlet Bug

If your group is having a difficult time killing Skadi the Ruthless in Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle then you can use the gauntlet bug to down him easily. The gauntlet bug can be used to complete the “Lodi Dodi We Loves the Skadi” achievement easily where you have to defeat Skadi the Ruthless in Utgarde Pinnacle on Heroic Difficulty within 3 minutes of starting the gauntlet event.

The Gauntlet Bug

Have everybody stand in the room before the hallway then let one player go in and start the event and run back in the room. Once he despawns run down the hallway and to the back room where all the trash spawns. This is where the group is going to aoe down all the trash spawns without having to worry about the frostfire damage and the tank loosing aggro while running and eventually wiping the group. When the group is ready  and positioned, send one player back to start of the hallway to start the event.

How to Defeat Skadi under 3 minutes to complete the achievement

Once you figure out the gauntlet trick, defeating Skadi under 3 minutes is really easy. This is what you do:

• Use the gauntlet trick described above and start the event.
• Keep killing the trash spawns until your group has 6 harpoons.
• Run back down the hallway and reset Skadi
• Now do the gauntlet trick again but this time your group already has 6 harpoons so use the harpoon gun as soon as Skadi gets withing range and down him.
