Did blizz remove half of these eggs? i have hardly found a single one in any of the locations specified as of august 2011.

I can confirm that I’ve had some spawn at the coordinates shown. I’m not totally sure about all of them, but from what other people have farmed, eggs are still fairly rare. I’ve gotten 4 in an hour of searching (paired with doing the dailies), and this is when no one else is in Shadowmoon @ 4 am on a quiet server.
Just figure out a good path and stick to it, you’ll start seeing more of them when you figure out spawning

@amykins – No they haven’t, they just spawn every 1 or 2 hours and don’t stay there long, dw i got 6 in about 10 minutes but the next day i got 0 in 1 hour.. its all about luck!
I usually find about 10 eggs a day. I make the dragonmaw to netherwing ledge loop, pick up my dailies, then head to the mine. After I turn in my eggs and dailies, I switch toons for about 2 hours then come back and make the loop again. Since I work at night I usually have about 4-5hours during the day to farm and got from hated-revered in about 3 days.
