Obsidian Sanctum minimum gear/stat requirements
This is the minimum gear requirement guideline for Obsidian Sanctum Raid instance. Try to spec and gear your class properly to achieve these targets if you plan on clearing Obsidian Sanctum.
The Obsidian Sanctum is a level 80 Raid instance. It is the black dragonflight area of the Chamber of Aspects below the Wyrmrest Temple. Obsidian Sanctum has one main raid boss, Sartharion the Onyx Guardian, and has three of Sartharion’s lieutenants, Shadron, Tenebron, and Vesperon.
Minimum Requirement for Tanks
- Defense Rating at least: 540 (Defense Cap)
- Health: 26k
- Armor: 22k+
Minimum Requirement for DPS class
- All dps class should have at least more than 1.5k dps.
- Classes whose dps depends on Attack Power should have at least 2.7k Attack Power.
- Classes whose dps depends on Spell Power should have at least 1400 Spell Power.
- Dps should have at least 80% towards the hit cap.
Note that it is possible to down the boss with a few dps in the raid with less than 1.5k dps but then the fight becomes intense as the healers will run out of mana healing for longer time.
Minimum Requirement for Healers
- Healers should have at least 1500 Bonus Heal and
- 170 MP5 (mana regeneration while in combat)

Can I MT this raid?
no.
Healadin assigned to continuous Flash of Light on the MT (Also throwing in Sacred Shield) successfully finished it with no drakes up.
Unbuffed:
Int 650
Mana pool 13000
Bonus Healing 1000
Crit chance 24% on heals
Mana regen 157 MP5
So if all you need is a MT healer, you can get away with a slightly undergeared healadin.
